Welcome all to my “My Taste of Hollywood” film prop and wardrobe collection. I have mainly devoted this web site to the wonderful Pacific Renaissance Pictures television series "Xena Warrior Princess", “Young Hercules” and “Hercules the Legendary Journeys”, but I do also have more items from other sci-fi shows for your viewing as well.
The wardrobe and props in my private galleries are original and from the actual film sets. The screen caps and assorted pictures I gathered from the dvd’s and around the Xenaverse web world. So....come on in and browse my Virtual Museum of Xena and Hercules along with other Sci-Fi shows! My friends have asked me why I have collected all these wonderful items, but we all know these TV and Movie favorites were some of the greatest shows around...
In June of 2001 when the Xena Warrior Princess aired it’s final episode Pacific Renaissance had already auctioned off all of its wardrobe, props and set dressing to the public through Turner’s Auctions in New Zealand and Pacific Renaissance then locked it’s doors. I went through the buying frenzy and purchased many items from people that were at the Pacific Renaissance Turners auction and from eBay when alot of items hit the airways, only to be separated into the 4 corners of the earth. I have had many people wanting to see what was in the galleries of the “My Taste of Hollywood” and thats how this web site or my online museum began. I am still collecting today finding items through individual collectors to complete my wardrobe collection so my displays will appear as it was used on the sets. I (Mart) have also become a member of ‘The Movie Props Association’ and a registered member with the United Movie Collectors Guild as a private collector, my registered number is 100030 but being a collector I do occasionally sell a few mismatched items on eBay and in our ‘For Sale or Trade’ section that I haven’t been able to match up with outfits I plan on keeping for my personal collection.
