’The Bacchae’

This outfit was used in episode ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’. The top is made out of leather and a heavy tulle type of material, it ties in the front,  on each side and at the neck. This is one of the bacchae tops made with a cape as some were made without one. The skirt is a standard wrap around black leather skirt with a tulle type of material on top. The gauntlets are made of leather and are made so the fingers protrude out the end, the cape in back attaches to the neck and to the gauntlets at the wrist. The underside of the cape is a red shiney type of material that  almost looks iridescent when the light hits it. The boots are made of heavy black leather were standard issue for these outfits.

‘The Sacrifice Mask’

This mask was used in the episode ‘The Sacrifice’ season 3, it is made of foam with a plastic or rubber coating then hand painted, it has long natural and black raffia and a elastic band to hold it on your head. A wonderful piece of artistry and very well made.

‘Kalib’

This outfit was used in season 5, episode ‘Chakram’, it has a long sleeve under robe and a sleeveless printed over robe. It is quite a heavy piece and is labeled ‘with fire retardant’ and was used in the fire scene at the beginning of the episode it is also labeled ‘Kalib’, ‘X1’, ‘Stuart Thorpe  which is character / actor and marked which episode of the 5th season it was filmed.

‘Female Villager’

This is a great villager outfit put together by me. I purchased each piece separately and pieced the outfit together, so , it was not paired up like this on the set. Villagers and Peasants were a standard all throughout the Hercules/ Young Hercules and Xena series. Without villagers for the bad guys to harass then we wouldn’t need a hero. This outfit consists of a long dress made of a soft material with a leather lace up corset, a long lace like material shawl and a pair of canvas shoes trimmed in shells. The corset with gold leather trim laces up on each side and again in the back and is the only piece labeled. Written inside the corset is the name ‘Carlie’ but I don’t know if that is character or actress.

‘Male Villager’

This is wonderful villager outfit and was pieced together by me one piece at a time, so this items were not paired up together on the set as you see in the picture. Villagers and Peasants were a standard all throughout the Hercules/ Young Hercules and Xena series. Without villagers for the bad guys to harass then we wouldn’t need a hero. This outfit consists of a triangular shaped canvas hat, a cotton like material shirt, a pair of stunt oil skin pants(they have a spandex section in the crotch and back for stunt work), nice multi colored leather boots with burlap decoration that lace up the front. It has a smooth leather and sheep fur vest, a thick leather belt with a large buckle and a pair of leather  and fur gauntlets which could possibly be Centaur gauntlets judging by the way they are made.

“Lao Ma’s Messenger”

This outfit was worn in season six in the episode ‘When the Fates Collide’ and cosists of four items. It has robe made of a raw silk like material with lots of trim and chinese frog style buttons. It has a pair of black satin pants, a wonderful little Chinese hat and a pair of Chinese style shoes. It was definitely made for a smaller person than my mannequin, as you can tell by the sleeve and pants length of the outfit. A great costume item made to use for about one minute of the whole episode.

‘The Blind Witches’

These are two of the three blind witches outfits from the ‘Young Hercules’ series, episode ‘Me, Myself and Eye’. They are both made the same way and but one has a body suit underneath to make the actress have the appearance of a twisted or malformed body. They have a long under dress with a partially see through over dress and short cape or wool sweater type outer piece. The over dresses have holes torn in them to give an old or ancient appearance to the outfit. These outfits are a little different looking because they have these wired long funnel type sleeves and the bottom of the dresses are wired so they stand out and away from the body. They are both labeled by character ‘Deino Witch and Enzo Witch’

‘Horse Hair Festival Mask’

This mask is a wonderful prop used in Young Hercules, episode ‘A Lady in Hades’ by actor Chris Conrad as young Jason. This full head mask is made of closed sell foam covered in a light rubber coating and then painted to have that goblin look. It has screen covered eyes so you can see out but no one can see in and the head part is horse hair woven into a material base. Quite a interesting piece used in the first 2 minutes of the episode when Jason tries to talk Young Hercules into going to the festival that night.

‘Boar Tusk Necklace’

This necklace was used in Xena Warrior Princess, season 6,  episode ‘The Abyss’ worn by the lead cannibal of the tribe. It is made of large resin boar tusks connected together with twine with small shells hanging in several places for accent, it is very well made and comfortable to wear.

‘Gold and Rhinestone Ring’

This ring is a costume jewelry ring with lots of glitz and bling, a XWP prop seller gave it to me as a gift. It is made of some kind of cheap metal, then gold plated with lots of rhinestones colored and clear mounted, it fits the mannequins pinkie finger and is probably around a size 6 or 7. It is a very attractive piece and I guarantee it would be almost impossible to locate it in any episode being that it is such a small costume piece.

This necklace is the Pi lee/Vanessa necklace used in the episode 'Daughter of Pomira' worn by Beth Allen...it is made of lots and lots of beads with leather ties, it has a large crescent in the center with leather, beads and feathers hanging from it. The crescent appears to be made out of a resin or composite type material and then painted to look wooden....quite a neat piece
