‘Cow Horn Table Decor’

These items were used in Ape City and are quite interesting. They are actual hand carved cow horn, they are mirror images of each other and each one has a dragon and phoenix with a border design at the bottom. They are both mounted on a wooden base and the carved detail is done so it feels like and looks like actual scales and feathers. I was told these were used in the old senior ape’s room(Charleston Heston) when he was in bed dying, but I don’t have a screencap to confirm it.

‘Ape City Curtains’

This style of bamboo ring hanging curtains were used in Ape City. They are made out of a thick natural type grass material formed in rings and knotted. They have plastic type coins added in here and there for color. I have 2 sets of these and each one measures approximately 3’ wide by 6’  in length.

‘The Royal Ape Outfit’

This outfit was worn by the high royal or noble apes in Ape City. The jacket and pants are made of a silk like material in an asian style or fashion  and labeled ‘Noble’ 36/38. It has a gold material necklace or collar with a metal medallion and a small stone and a very nice pair of leather shoes. An outfit to make any noble ape proud.

‘Bud Vase’

These style of heavy multicolored hand blown bud vases were used in the Ape City in the homes of the orangutans and chimps. It measures approximately 13” tall and is blown thick; a very well made heavy item.

‘The Humans’

This style humans outfit was worn throughout the whole movie. The top and pants are made out of material then painted with a rubber type paint in several shades to look quite rugged. The pants are made like chaps and lace up in the front and in the back. It has a leather and material with gauze loin cloth on the back, the front loin cloth is quite interesting with pine cone burr pieces and mother of pearl shell adhered to a material to give the appearance of light armor. It has a pair of leather shoes covered in a gauze type material so they look old or textured. This outfit is sized for a young girl or boy around the age of 12 or 13 and very well made even for group, mob or background scenes.
